Shallow, petty, appearance-driven, busy-body neighbors harass charity efforts for people with disabilities.

I'm going to have to temporarily cut back a number of my charity programs because of the beginning warnings of harassment from shallow neighbors. This saddens me greatly about such human beings, but we'll adapt and find a way to bounce back eventually. I always suspected how shallow some of our neighbors were. Last week this was unfortunately confirmed. I am going to try to find property away from such self-involved, shallow, selfish neighbors (though likely will take years to save up for such a move, this is when it begins). This is in the Whitworth University area, North Five mile area, Forest Hills are, of Spokane, Washington.

This is where I am venting my frustration and disappointment in these people. We're going to have to temporarily cut back a number of my charity programs because of the beginning warnings of harassment from shallow neighbors.

This came up when I was about to head out to Tucson with my youngest son and his girlfriend to visit my mother in Tucson.

One of the North Five Mile are, Forest Hills, Spokane, Washington neighbors, Mike, one of the few that deigns to speak with me, said that 3-4 of the other neighbors and himself were sick of seeing the trailer and the bus. That they were grumbling about property values (even though none of them are planning to sell any time soon), etc. Even with the bus and trailer parked parked fully in my driveway. It was made clear they were going to start making my life difficult if I didn't get rid of them. They had already sicced the Sheriff on the neighbor across the way for his sometimes keeping his RV on the street for a week or so at a time, and made it clear they would start in on me next.

He stated that he had told them the trailer and bus are purely for charity work, helping people with disabilities and such, and that to keep my extensive personal costs down for these endeavors, so we could help more people, since it is all out of my own pocket, that was why they were in my driveway rather than costing hundreds/month in and out of storage (in addition to what I already pay in payments, insurance, taxes, etc.).

He made it clear they didn't care. They were annoyed with how ugly the trailer was, and just simply didn't like the trailer, even though it was new. He obliquely mentioned someone said something about property values they were afraid it was going to hurt, etc, though he confirmed none of them were planning to sell/move anytime soon.

Sigh.

What fools these mortal be, forgive them they know now what they?

Patience & love?

Finding it difficult to stick to my mantras with such an invasive issue.

We'll have to, for now, discontinue 3-4 regular charity groups to make up for the cost of storage, around $300-$400 per month for the two large items. I'm considering maybe a cheap warehouse instead. They appear to be about the same price, and would have a lot more utilitarian benefit potentially.

Anyway, when Katy and I by the new property for our house, I am going to have to insist we find something with buffer from nosy, selfish, appearance-focused, petty, neighbors. Somehow.
